About BioNexus

BioNexus — Biomedical Research Data Nexus

A provenance-aware workspace for organizing gene-centered biological evidence, descriptive comparison, and reproducible capture of selected local research records.

Purpose

BioNexus organizes local, gene-centered biomedical research records so researchers can review selected evidence, preserve source context, and work from explicit stored relationships.

Research workflow

Discover → Save Gene → Gene Research Workspace → RNA Analysis → Project → Compare → Dataset → Export. Each stage keeps the researcher in control of what is selected and saved.

Major capabilities

BioNexus supports external discovery, local sequence and structure libraries, gene workspaces, RNA analysis, literature and evidence review, research projects, descriptive comparison, Dataset versions, and deterministic exports.

Provenance and reproducibility

Saved records retain available source context and research history. Dataset versions preserve selected local snapshots separately from changing ordinary records. See the provenance guide and Dataset guide.

Version

1.0.0-rc1. See release, citation, license, and limitations for the current publication-readiness context.

Documentation

Researcher documentation explains workflows, data availability, reproducibility boundaries, exports, and limitations.
